Procrastinating 3L: Too Late for Federal Clerkships?

I'm a third year law student and would like to apply for federal clerkships, but missed the OSCAR deadline. Am I SOL or are there still opportunities available? I've heard about "off-cycle" judges -- how do I find out who these are? Any advice is appreciated.

Although the deadline to apply for most federal court clerkships has passed, some federal judges announce clerkship vacancies after the normal deadline; these opportunities may still be available. Go to the OSCAR website to learn how to register/apply.
Most "off-cycle" judges are also listed on OSCAR but don't participate. You will probably have to contact their offices to see if they are hiring. You can also look for newly appointed judges who didn't have time to participate by the September deadline.

I think the Tax Court might
I think the Tax Court might hire outside of OSCAR, not sure about other ALJ's -- although this is not necessarily a federal judiciary clerkship.

Can graduates still apply for clerkships?
Yes -- I think it's the same
Yes -- I think it's the same process -- Apply through OSCAR, unless off-cycle judge (and perhaps Armed Forces and some ALJ exceptions).
